*Record Scratch*             *Freeze Frame*                         Yep, that’s me and I bet you’re wondering how I got here. Well you see, in the city of Bowling Green, it started in 1941, when the owner of Finders Records, Greg Halamay wanted a way to offer a better music selection to the city of BG. It was there that they came up with Record Store Day as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding 1,400 independently owned record stores.             Finders Records has participated in Record Store Day since the celebration’s inception in 2007 and they’ve seen the growth and awareness in the day from not just aro

Shopping Highlight: Coyote Beads

One thing that all my friends and I have in common is that we love fashion. We always seem to be looking at clothes when we are together, whether it be on social media or shopping together. Everyone has that one item they always wear, some people won’t leave their homes without a bag, others always wear heels, for me it’s jewelry. I always wear at least one or two necklaces and an anklet. Jewelry is my go to, it brings an outfit together while also expressing my unique style. When I moved to BG, I was determined to find a great place to shop for jewelry and I was not disappointed.                   Coyote Beads and Jewelry is a unique, amazing store. It is all hand made and if you want something special you can make your own. Coyote Beads and Jewelry provides classes and allows anyone to come in and make their own personalized jewelry. Coyote Beads and Jewelry also works with BGSU. The owner does classes and small DIY events for fraternities

New Restaurant Highlight: BurGers BG

Oasis’s late night dining and delivery options were a staple to Bowling Green’s college life. Everyone loved their 300+ options for food, especially the mac n cheese wedges! If you have ever been in Bowling Green and drove down Wooster street, I am sure you have seen Oasis’s huge colorful sign right by the McDonalds by campus. If you look there now, however, you’ll see the big rainbow sign has changed a bit. It no longer says Oasis, BurGers in all orange and white is what you will see now . Over Christmas break Oasis shut its doors for the last time with little to no warning; most of the staff didn't even realize it was closing.   But, about a month later in the beginning of February, BurGers BG was born! It is in the same location with the same phone number as Oasis. This restaurant is completely brand new and not affiliated with Oasis at all. The menu is almost completely  different, it did keep some fan favs  though . Such as, the mac n cheese wedges, jalapeƱo pop
