“All agree, the beer is cold, the cocktails are the best around and the food is simply amazing!” Reverend’s Bar & Grill is one of the many delicious restaurants located in Bowling Green. It is considered to be an “American Gastro Pub with Latin and Southwestern influences.” But don’t worry, they have something for everyone. From salads, to wings, to burgers, this menu has got it all! All sandwiches and burgers are served with their house made chips, but you can also sub in one of their many other delicious sides! The garlic fries and sweet potato fries are a hit.
            Having great food is only one aspect of this restaurant. Reverend’s also has a large drink selection. If you are over 21, stop in and try one of their many beer options or a cocktail made from scratch! At the bar they also have twelve rotating taps to go along with some permanent favorites. Just ask your server for the list of the current selections!
            The atmosphere of Reverend’s Bar and Grill is just as comforting as their food and drinks! The brick walls gives it an urban feel, while the size of the dining rooms gives it an intimate feel. The walls are decorated with art work and photographs along with memorabilia. When you are there take note of the many beer taps that line the walls. It is a nice touch to give it that bar atmosphere.

Thursday: 4pm - 10pm             
Friday: 4pm - 10pm
Saturday: 12pm - 10pm
Sunday: 3pm - 9pm 
While the bar is open until 2
am on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays!

The Bowling Green Community Pool

With the heat rising there is no better way to cool off than at the Bowling Green Community Pool and Waterpark. Just a short drive outside of town, the community pool is great for people of all ages. Recently, the pool has opened its newest addition a splash pad! The pool also has a water-slide, lazy river, and lap pool. You can enjoy refreshing beverages, snacks, and frozen treats from the concession stand located at the facility. The pool opens at 12 PM on the weekends and 1 PM during the week. You can enjoy your pool day until 8:45 PM. If you are a pass-holder you can enter the pool an hour before the pool opens to the public! Daily pass prices start at just $6 for adults and $4.75 for children.  The pool opened May 27 th and will remain open till August 16 th .  Post season the pool will be open August 17 th through September 4 th weekends only. 50th Anniversary of The Annual Tractor Pulling Championships in Bowling Green

Bowling Green offers plenty of activities during the summer, but one of the most exciting events to kick off the end of the summer season is the National Tractor Pulling Championships!  Come one, come all to experience one of the biggest events Bowling has to offer. This year is noteworthy because it is the 50 th anniversary of the annual National Tractor Pulling Championships! The Northwestern Ohio Tractor Pullers Association (NWOTPA) became the Wood County Tractor Pullers in 1962 with 20 members in Bowling Green, Ohio. In 1964 the club started to grow in membership because people from different counties wanted to join, and the club then changed the name to the Northwestern Ohio Tractor Pullers Association. The first year that Bowling Green held the National Tractor Pulling Championships was in 1967.   This year the Tractor Pulls will be starting on Thursday, August 18 th through Sunday August 21 st located at the Wood Country Fairgrounds.
