Welcome to the city
of Bowling Green, home of the BGSU Falcons
and $3-dollar craft beers. BG’ s very own City Tap is known for their house
specials, great food, and good music. Since it opened in 2009 it has been the
quintessential spot for young people in town to go for good eats and music.
Every Monday you can enjoy “Pint Night” which has over 34 beers on tap and all
craft beers for 3 dollars including fan favorites such as Great Lakes, Jackie
O’s, New Belgium, and Fat Head’s.
If you aren’t in the mood for
drinks don’t worry, City Tap offers more than that, their menu includes:
appetizers, burgers, and wings -- a town favorite. Feel free to stop in from
4-6 pm for their daily happy hour ranging from $5 appetizers to $2 domestic
bottles. After 9 pm you can enjoy a game
of free pool two nights out the week and Wednesday is their weekly country
night, something that can be enjoyed by all crowds.
Many students and locals feel the best
part of City Tap is that it doubles as a nightclub. On the weekends you can enjoy The Attic located on the second
floor of City Tap. It’s an 18 and over bar that overlooks the busy downtown
streets of Bowling Green. The Attic offers drink specials every day in addition
to student discounts on weekends which includes Thursday’ s dollar drink night
and free lady’s night on Saturdays. You can enjoy popular music selections
ranging from today’s pop hits to rap throwbacks.
Both City Tap and The Attic are
located downtown on the corner of E. Wooster and N. Main Street at 110 N. Main
St. City Tap is open Monday through Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. and
Thursday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. and The Attic is open Monday
through Saturday from 9 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
