Mr. Spots “BG's Favorite Place for Wings, Hoagies, & Cheese Steaks Mr Spots is the undisputed heavyweight champion of wings and cheese steaks in Bowling Green, Ohio. A favorite amongst university students and local residents alike, Mr Spots is a culinary landmark in Northwest Ohio. Eat in, take out, or have it delivered. Mr Spots is also the only place in town that delivers beer!” Among the many restaurants in Downtown Bowling Green includes the Philadelphia inspired Mister Spots. In 1985, Mister Sports was opened by Philadelphia raised Jim Gavarone. Mister Spots got it’s name and logo inspiration from Jim’s cat, Spot. The restaurant stayed in its original location on Court Street for over 25 years before relocating around the corner on North Main Street in 2011.            The Downtown Bowling Green Farmers Market is a family friendly event that takes place every Wednesday from 4-7pm May 18 th through October 12 th .   The Downtown Bowling Green Farmers Market is held in the parking lot at the corner of Clough and South Main. A farmers market is a refreshing way to purchase fresh foods, plants and other exciting things such as jewelry. Where you can enjoy live entertainment.
